The Province presents cheque to the Cochrane Pickleball Club for new 20-court facility in Greystone

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Alberta Arts, Culture and Status of Women Minister Tanya Fir presented a cheque to the Cochrane Pickleball Club for $997,287 for the construction of a new Pickleball facility in the community of Greystone in Cochrane.

The funds are a grant from the Community Facilities Enhancement Program, and are matched by Entity One Inc. - the developers of Greystone. Furthermore, Entity One Inc will finance the sound reduction fencing that will surround the new Pickleball complex.

Construction on the facility site, next to the SLS Centre, begins later this week with a completion date slated for the Fall of 2024. The facility is part of a large outdoor park, including new baseball diamonds, playground, court area, and washrooms.

Stay tuned for construction updates and Grand Opening celebrations later this year.
